A Stargate Revival?

Following the AI-driven script table read this past weekend, SyFy Wire have posted an exclusive update on the potential future for the “Stargate” universe.

While there have been unrealized hopes in the past that “Stargate” would make it back to our screens, according to the series co-creator Brad Wright, it’s not the time to give up hope for a revival. Per the article:

“Long before there were multiple “Star Treks” on the air at the same time, as there are right now, we had “Stargate SG-1” and “Stargate: Atlantis” on Friday night at the same time. That's something that has become a bit of a big deal in science fiction television," Wright tells SYFY WIRE. "I can't imagine Amazon [who now own the universe] not doing something with the franchise, or empowering MGM to do something with the franchise for [them]."
